On AirPort at the airport

by Neil MacLean on November 8, 2006

I am plugged in at Starbucks at Stansted airport, testing Blogmailr –
yes, without the “e” in best 2.0 style. This a new service allowing
you to post to your blog by email. I have done something like this
before – was it with MSN Spaces? – and once again it involves trying
to remember an obscure address, comprised of random numbers and
letters. Not such a problem on my own machine or in Gmail but I would
be stuffed if I was on a borrowed computer.
Thought I would see Fergus from Nooked in the airside wi-fi area. For
no better reason than he was there last time I came through. The
other day, at Heathrow, I found myself beside Ewan Spence from the
Podcast Network.
It’s a dull day when I go through a British airport without bumping
into someone at the forefront of the social media revolution.
