John at Freshblog has done a great guide. Much more comprehensive than I could do in the two minutes before I run out to do last minute Christmas shopping.
The scenario which interests me is when a blogger is critical or supportive of a client of mine or a service and I want a quick idea of the status of his regular input to the blogosphere. His Kinja profile card seems like a good place to start.
