Hotels can flag their latest TripAdvisor reviews
by Neil MacLean on March 16, 2007
Ever since I discovered that hotels can add TripAdvisor reviews into their own websites (if they are feeling brave enough) I have wondered what the result looks like. So far I haven’t found an example.
Instead I decided to pick a hotel at random and generate the html to post here.
Maybe it will break the page, who knows?
UPDATE: It did break the page! So I removed it. My fault for not allowing it enough width. Anyway, this is what it’s
meant to look like. I still would be interested to know if anybody has found a hotel brave enough to install a web feed of its TripAdvisor reviews.

I don’t know about being brave enough, but would they know how to install a web feed ?
I came across a site for a private villa rental in Greece and was amazed to see they displayed some disparaging testimonials. What was interesting was they’d responded to the bad remarks by stating what they’d done, or intended to do, to remedy the problem for future guests.
It was refreshing to see and stood out from the usual glowing feedback you often see populating on-line guestbooks/testimonials.
