I have just been trying Blog Everywhere a new Web 2.0 app from Hotmail founder Sabeer Bhatia. The story is here.
It’s not a totally original concept – there are other services which allow you to leave a trail of comments on the web for others to find – but it does seem to be well-funded. Perhaps well enough to stand out.
The PR implications of people finding strangers’ comments on your client’s website are pretty clear.
At the moment, you download an IE-only toolbar (Firefox to come) and there is a comment box which takes up too much real estate on my browser if I leave it open. I haven’t found any other comments yet – and need to soon if I am going to persevere.
