Trolley dolly strips for charity. Nice seats says Travel Weekly!

by Neil MacLean on November 20, 2007

The Travel Weekly blog introduces us to the new Ryanair charity calendar featuring, among others, a scantily-clad Nicola from Stansted. She seems to be topping up her air supply. Or something.

I didn’t know where to look. Martin Couzins does. Are those leather seats? Cough, cough.

The Daily Mail doesn’t approve. Oh there’s a surprise.

Looks like my point about the leather seats has been lost! So, Neil, is that a Ryanair aircraft or not? ;-)

Not lost; deliberately twisted for my own evil ends Martin :-)
I think it is one of the mock-up aircraft Ryanair keeps in its strippers’ training facility.
Seriously, I think it is a Ryanair plane – and the photo might have been tweaked to really darken the blue of the seats – but it’s been a while. These days I go EasyJet – the cabin crew might remain fully clothed for the duration but at least they fly from Glasgow Glasgow airport, rather than Glasgow middle of Ayrshire airport.

Of course, the shock isn’t so much the content of the calendar but the fact that the usually rapacious Ryanair have done it for charity ;-)

Evil indeed! I haven’t flown Ryanair for a while either. I’d love to hear a response from the charity to find out how the fleshy calendar fits in with its image.
