“And when I touch you I feel happy inside”

November 14, 2007

iphoneYou know what would get me travelling again? No, not money, fame or another contract at the Sunday Times. My iPod Touch. I love it so much I would even volunteer to get back on a charter to Sydney (and after going Down Under on a chart three times I thought my legs were permanently stunted) just so I could catch up on all my listening and looking while playing with that dazzling interface. Yesterday I watched a movie to and from Edinburgh and prayed for the train to get stuck in a tunnel. The picture quality! The sound! The penguin being chased by the seal! (yes, it was Happy Feet, so what?). And today I discovered (via James Cridland) the new BBC site for listening to their podcasts via your Touch or iPhone. Works brilliantly.

[OK, so I would need to find some way of re-charging it about ten times on the way to Australia, but you know what I mean]
