The thing I like about Google’s customise your own search engine service is it lets people create truly useful sites which will serve you up concentrated results, mostly without spammy distractions. Mark Hodson, a regular of the Sunday Times travel section, has created his own version for travel articles. It’s very useful though after a couple of fruitless searches I began to wonder if he had specifically asked Google to ignore all of my stuff. Third time lucky I tried a little know Swedish island which I felt sure had probably only featured in one of my articles and sure enough there it was. Great stuff Mark, I never doubted it for a minute.
