Bird watching for beginners

If this was my screensaver I wouldn’t touch my mouse from dawn til dusk.
For the last couple of days I have been glued to the not-very-exciting-but-oh-so-compelling adventures of Mr and Mrs Bald Eagle and their clutch on Hornby Island, BC.
Fortunately I have a two monitor set-up which allows me to keep one eye on the birds and their eggs while the rest of my body gets on with some work.
